Online Textbook Ordering and Information

General Information for FALL 2010 Textbook Ordering:
  • Availability of USED books is not guaranteed. NEW books will be subsituted if USED are not available.
  • The earlier you place your order, the more opportunity you have to get lower-priced used textbooks as we pull books on a first-come basis
  • We have a "no-hassle" returns policy: just bring your books and receipt back within the allotted time and you'll get a full refund! (Please note that course manuals/packets are not returnable and are clearly marked as such in course book lists)
  • All textbook orders (EasyBooks) will ONLY be available for PICK-UP (EasyBooks pick-up begins Thursday, August 19 for orders placed by August 15)
  • ALL textbook orders are treated as EasyBooks orders with a $4.25 service charge.
  • ALL email correspondence regarding this order will go to the email account placed on the order; we recommend the student's email account be used for this reason.
  • Your credit card will get charged at the time that your order is processed, not when you place your order. We expect to begin processing EasyBooks orders on August 11.
  • IMPORTANT note on pricing of course manuals: because of the timing of our course manual production and posting textbooks on our web site, many of the course manuals will have estimated prices. These estimated prices concern those books labeled, REQUIRED-NON RETURNABLE XEROX. When your order is processed, the actual prices could be higher or lower. In our effort to get ALL textbooks posted to our web site as soon as possible, we regret any inconvenience this unavoidable procedure may cause you.
  • Remember to bring back any unwanted textbooks at the end of the semester for up to 50% of the new price during Textbook Buyback
  • Read through the EasyBooks Instructions below, click the link at the bottom of this page, select FALL 2010, and follow the steps from there.
Order Pick-Up Availability:
  • EasyBooks pick-up will begin on Thursday, August 19
  • For orders placed after Thursday, August 19th, please allow 2 business days for pick up- thank you.
Need Your Textbooks Shipped Out?

Payment
  • All orders require credit card information
  • If you have a gift card, supply the gift card number in the Notes box under Order Options on the Payment info page
  • Payment with more than one tender type is not functional at this time, though we hope to have this function available soon
EasyBooks Instructions:

  • BILLING ADDRESS - Name and Address on your Credit Card Statement
  • SHIPPING ADDRESS - STUDENT'S name, campus (CPO) address (if CPO not known, enter 1234), and ID#
  • IL sales tax is the correct default since your books will be picked up at the Wheaton College Bookstore.
  • "DELIVERY METHOD" (in the SHIPPING ADDRESS section) will default to "EasyBooks-Textbooks Handling Charge." (There is a $4.25 handling charge to have the books pulled and waiting for you when you return to campus.)
  • All EasyBooks Returns and Exchanges will be applied to the credit card used when ordering EasyBooks

    • Changes, modifications and additions to course number, section, ISBN or price may be made at any time up to and including the first few weeks of the semester.
    • The textbook information we provide is not meant as a guarantee for purchases made other than at the Wheaton College Bookstore.
    • For this reason, please note that the Wheaton College Bookstore will not make exchanges, refunds, or any compensation for books mistakenly purchased from any other source utilizing the information below.
    • Some course manuals, those items designated "Required Non-Returnable," have estimated prices because they are in the process of being printed.
    • Availability of used books is not guaranteed. New books will be provided if used are not available.
    • Please note that either or both of these cases may cause your sales total to increase or decrease.
