Location and Parking Information
The Wheaton College Bookstore employs anywhere between 15 - 18 students as Store Associates and an additional 5 - 8 students as ThunderShop Associates. We hire for both summer and academic semester positions.
We do accept work study employees.
These student employees are responsible for the day to day operations of both the Bookstore and C-Store. They are typically scheduled for an average of 10 hours per week and the shifts are designed to fit within normal class schedules. Saturday shifts are required and will be assigned on a rotating basis (usually around four to five Saturday shifts per semester.
Store Associate 1 Job Description
These student employees are responsible for the athletic concession stands that are run during select home sports games. Students selected for this role will be allowed to sign up to work for specific games as the schedule becomes available. The are expected to work a minimum of 10 games per semester but can sign up for as many as they would like. Typically, duties involve set-up/tear down of the booth, customer service at the games, and selling merchandise.

For the Fall Semester, we usually wait until the Part Time Job Fair that is held on campus before hiring student associates . We encourage you to submit an application ahead of time as your application will be considered first. 30 minute parking is available on Chase St. between College Ave. and the College. Additional parking can be found through the campus where ever it is posted that visitors are allowed to park. Please observe all college regulations regarding where is and isn't an appropriate place for visitors to park.

The Wheaton College Bookstore wants to make your conference run more smoothly with less hassle! We offer many services that may benefit your conference. These benefits include book titles tailored towards your conference's topic available for sale, a full copy center to print your documents, coupons for your attendees, and even book tables for your events. What's a "book table"? We'll operate a table filled with conference related titles for sale in the building where your conference is located. The Bookstore will take care of ordering titles, staffing the table, take care of all setting up and tearing down, and returning any remaining books, thus giving you more opportunity to enjoy your conference with less worry.
